Thought for the day:

"Give me grace to amend my life, and to have an eye to mine end, without grudge of death, which to them that die in thee,
good Lord, is the gate of a wealthy life."
St. Thomas More

THREE THINGS

"Three things are necessary for the salvation of man; to know what he ought to believe; to know what he ought to desire; and to know what he ought to do."
St. Thomas Aquinas

Rights of Man?

"The people have heard quite enough about what are called the 'rights of man'. Let them hear about the rights of God for once". Pope Leo XIII Tamesti future, Encyclical

Eternity

All souls owe their eternity to Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many have turned their back to him.

FORGET HISTORY?

In the current country woes we have useful idiots leading sheeple to do stupid things.  These people want to delete our country's history.  Do they NOT know that some of our founding Fathers along with some black people owned slaves?  I doubt they do know this, as well as pretty much anything else.  Do they know that General Robert E. Lee would have been the leader of the Union had not Virginia, his state, decided to secede the union.  He would NOT fight against his own people.

These clueless morons call President Trump a Nazi.  However, they don't seem to have a problem endorsing the Marx, Engels, Lenin, and Stalin Socialism, in which the government runs everything.  We definitely need some divine help.

A certain historian, Steven Ambrose, wrote the following quote.  I got it from a crossword puzzle.  I am a cruciverbalist, a crossword junkie. (can't even find this word anymore in the dictionary, since it has also been dumbed down).  Anyway, here is the quote:

"The past is a source of knowledge and the future is a source of hope.  Love for the past implies faith in the future."

These dumbbells know nothing of the past before the 1960's when history started in their lives, and our future looks grim.

Stephen Edward Ambrose was an American historian and biographer of U.S. Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon.

Born: January 10, 1936, Lovington, IL

Died: October 13, 2002, Bay St. Louis, MS

A couple more quotes by him:

"You don't hate history, you hate the way it was taught to you in high school."
"World War II, the atomic bomb, the Cold War, made it hard for Americans to continue their optimism."
