Thought for the day:

"Give me grace to amend my life, and to have an eye to mine end, without grudge of death, which to them that die in thee,
good Lord, is the gate of a wealthy life."
St. Thomas More

THREE THINGS

"Three things are necessary for the salvation of man; to know what he ought to believe; to know what he ought to desire; and to know what he ought to do."
St. Thomas Aquinas

Rights of Man?

"The people have heard quite enough about what are called the 'rights of man'. Let them hear about the rights of God for once". Pope Leo XIII Tamesti future, Encyclical

Eternity

All souls owe their eternity to Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many have turned their back to him.

PAY ATTENTION!

I am reporting something that I have noticed in the past few years. It is in regards to the accidents which happened on January 9, 2015, in which hundreds of vehicles were involved in various locations. I know that many who are driving on the roads are idiots, driving too fast or on the phone and thus, NOT paying attention! However, this is not my concern for today. Many vehicles which are on the road these days have an ‘Auto’ switch on their dashboard for lights, which turns on the ‘running lights’, and thus, turns on their headlights at a lower beam. However, on a bright day with snow or fog, there are NO taillights! BIG problem! I have a 2008 Saturn Vue which has the ‘auto’ switch for lights. I have to physically turn the switch to ‘Full’ to get full headlights AND taillights. When the switch is on ‘auto’, I have a little green light to tell me my ‘running lights’ are on. I noticed that this green light is on, my dashboard lights are NOT on. When my dashboard lights are on, I know that my taillights are on also. People need to be more aware of their situation when using their vehicles. Maybe if more taillights could have been seen there wouldn’t have been as many accidents and injuries and deaths. PAY ATTENTION to what your vehicle is telling you! Maybe some lives can be saved. Just sayin'
