R.I.P. Fr. David

We add to the number of souls to pray for, Fr. David Przedwiecki. He was a good priest. He tried to fight against the innovations of Vat.II, and got penalized by the local bishop. But, he kept a good sense of humor, that, once we asked him how to spell his name. He said: "Just like it sounds." It is pronounced: Shed-viet-ski. A few years ago, he suffered a big stroke. His organs didn't respond very well, and he pretty much lost his ability to communicate in coherent sentences. However, we visited him a few months after his stroke, couldn't understand him, but, upon leaving, he gave us the blessing from the Traditional Mass in Latin. It was still in there somewhere, struggling to get out. I served him at Mass at his City of Mary grounds, and he will be sorely missed. Requiesce in pace.
