Just sayin'. If you ask me, going to the N.O. mass can contribute to losing your Faith, as well as your children's Faith. Going to the Traditional Mass will help preserve it. At least you still have the chance of preserving it. Notice that I don't call it 'Tridentine' Mass; only for the reason that this word means 'from Trent', and the Holy Mass of all the saints was waaaaaaay before Trent. Trent made the Traditional Mass THE MASS to be used for all time remaining. To do otherwise is to incur the wrath of the Apostles and of God, so said St. Pius V.
Further just sayin': In the N.O. mass, when scripture is read, the words are different than in the Douay Rheims Bible. To me, when the words are changed, the meaning of those verses are changed, also. For example, EVERY verse pertaining to Our Blessed Lady in scripture has been changed. In Luke, when Gabriel comes to announce the Birth to Mary, the Douay says: "Hail, full of grace". In the newer versions, it's: 'Hail, O highly favored daughter.' We of the Faith are all highly favored, but we're not 'full of grace'. Also in Luke, when told by Gabriel what was to happen, the Douay has Mary saying: "How shall it be done?" In the newer, she says: 'How can this be?!' Totally different meanings. In the newer, she seems to be doubting the fact. Also, in Luke in the Douay version, when she says the Magnificat, she says: "My soul magnifies the Lord, meaning, that if we look through her, we shall see more clearly what we need to know. In the newer, she says: 'My being proclaims the greatest of the Lord'. NOT the same thing at all!
I know that these 'newer' versions of the Bible somehow have an Imprimatur on them, meaning they are free from error, but it seems that those giving this 'stamp of approval', are among those who are seeking to destroy the Church that was handed down to from the Apostles. And, they are LEGION. They are down-playing the role of Mary in our salvation. These bibles are like the 'King James' version with a few books thrown in. All I'm saying is this: Get a GOOD version of holy scripture for your Faith. All others are simply NOT UP TO SNUFF!
When you look at the crucifix, you understand how much Jesus loved you then. When you look at the Sacred Host, you understand how much Jesus loves you now.

Pope Clement VII said in 1604:
"Since the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist by means of which Christ Our Lord has made us partakers of His sacred Body, and ordained to stay with us unto the consummation of the world, is the greatest of all the Sacraments, and it is accomplished in the Holy Mass and offered to God the Father for the sins of the people, it is highly fitting that we who are in one body which is the Church, and who share of the one Body of Christ, would use in this ineffable and awe- inspiring Sacrifice the same manner of celebration and the same ceremonial observance and rite"
The Mass! What a treasure! Christ's very own sacrifice on the cross left for us wrapped in an act seeping with beauty and divine celebration. It truly is "the Most Beautiful Thing this side of Heaven!".
